If you are not trained in broadcasting or journalism with a college degree, we enjoy grooming our future reporters and newscasters. If you have no experience, we are open to freelancers who want to pick up experience with a part-time position. We won't charge you a dime for better on-the-job training  than any college around. If you can be trusted to handle assignments, we may offer Michigan's $4.25 training wage if you don't have a college degree or any experience. Show us what you can do and you could possibly land a better paying position when one becomes available.

If you have no experience, we can possibly offer some co-hosting opportunities with one of our local hosts. If we see potential, we can make room for possible revenue producing shows if we like your talent and we like your show ideas.

DO YOU WANT TO HOST YOUR OWN SHOW? Give us your ideas and an audio sample. Hosts of our syndicated shows are multi millionaire earners as big time radio stars. Everybody started with a show they didn't get paid for by a radio station that gave them a break by letting them have a small slot of air time. If you have what it takes to attract listeners, your show can attract sales to support it. We have budgets set for revenue targets every hour during the week. We look for results.  We have part-time openings for radio board operators to control the switchboard and sound systems in the studio and at remote locations.

Job responsibilities also include set up and operating audio equipment for live recordings, producing recorded programming and to monitor the audio console for local sports programming and other local talk shows.

 Radio sales jobs can include a variety of roles, such as radio sales account executive, digital sales account executive, Administrative Assistant and General Sales Manager.

ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE: Base salary based on experience and proven results. Generous commission pay structure. We're looking for people who are not satisfied with $100,000 in annual income. You will sell digital space for The Daily Gazette and our web sites, sell advertising on our various social media platforms and sell commercials to air on programs on Metro Flint News/Talk Radio. Responsibilities besides finding advertising and sponsorship opportunities for programming include ensuring brands are a good fit with listeners or show styles, acting as a liaison between brand clients and radio program producers and hosts, helping facilitate marketing synergy and develop publicity events and on-air promotions. Your responsibilities will also include Identifying new leads through emails, phone calls, or social media; reaching out to clients to guide them through the purchase process; negotiating advertising contracts; liaising with clients to ensure their requirements are met and that adverts meet their standards. GENERAL SALES MANAGER: Base salary based on experience and proven results. Generous commission pay structure on your personal sales and a generous commission pay structure as a n over-ride on sales by your staff of Account Executives. Your responsibilities include managing the daily operations of the sales team, overseeing sales and marketing budgets, setting performance goals and developing sales strategies.
